For its fourth edition, the Dictée Gabrielle-Roy will take on a whole new dimension. The event, created 4 years ago by the joint efforts of the Maison Gabrielle Roy, the Alliance Française du Manitoba, the Center culturel franco-manitobain and the Gabrielle-Roy Library of Quebec City, will indeed be broadcast by the professional means of Productions Rivard in just over 40 cities across North America (Canada, United States and Mexico).

The dictation is not competitive, 3 winners were drawn among the participants and received prizes. The goal is to have fun with the French language and thus showcase Manitoba's Francophonie and its literary and museum heritage.

The support of the Alliances Françaises network, supported locally by Québec offices abroad, will allow the dictation to take place in Canada from coast to coast, but also in New York, Washington, Mexico City, San Francisco, Queretaro, Boston, Dallas… making the 4th Dictée Gabrielle-Roy a pan-Canadian and international event.
